Based in Osaka, in the Senshu region, the brand Mooncastle is the recent label of a family business operating since 1966. This experience allows the manufacturer to produce high-quality knits, emphasizing the choice of raw materials and finishes.
For this long-sleeved polo, Mooncastle has opted for "Ice Cotton", developed in 1866 by the Swiss company Spoerry. The innovative process surrounding the treatment of the cotton makes it thermoregulating, offering up to 4°C of additional coolness when in contact with the skin compared to conventional cotton. This is a significant advantage in the face of high summer temperatures. This manufacturing process also makes it wrinkle-resistant, and its weight allows for excellent wearability.
Mooncastle polo shirts and t-shirts tend to run relatively small. Additionally, as stated by the manufacturer, measurements and shades may vary slightly from one model to another.
You can choose your usual size for a fitted look, or go one size up if you prefer more immediate comfort and a deliberately looser fit.
