The Lot 1234 1920’s Free Land Waist Overall by Warehouse & Co. is an iconic piece inspired by early 20th-century “Free Land” railroad workwear from Pennsylvania. At a time when belt loops were just emerging, suspender buttons were still part of the design, alongside reinforced triple-stitched seams. The silhouette—both modest and functional—reflects the pride of railroad workers in the signature workwear style of America’s East Coast. Crafted in Japan from lightweight (8×10) selvedge denim made of 100% cotton, these jeans feature a textured, irregular weave true to the vintage aesthetic.
This model comes in a one-wash finish, ensuring minimal shrinkage and a ready-to-wear feel. Its straight cut and high rise stay true to the lines of historical workwear while offering great versatility in a modern wardrobe.
Received in its raw denim form, we chose to pre-wash it using Denim Wash developed by Warehouse & Co. to allow the fabric to soften while preserving the precision of its stitching, metal detailing, and construction. It is designed to develop a unique patina over time and pair perfectly with workwear or casual styles, such as boots and a chambray shirt, but can also be styled in a more modern wardrobe with streetwear influences.
This model runs small, we recommend choosing one to two sizes above your usual size.
