Description

The Warehouse & Co. Lot 4601 is one of the brand's signature classics and a faithful interpretation of the American T-shirt from the second half of the 20th century. Made from 100% cotton Tenjiku jersey, it is knitted from intentionally irregular yarn to recreate the texture and subtle variations characteristic of vintage T-shirts.

In the Salmon colorway, the jersey features a soft, slightly orange-toned pink that feels warm and understated, adding a subtle touch of color while remaining firmly rooted in the model's vintage aesthetic.

The fabric features a subtle horizontal structure known as the “Shadow Border”: slight variations appear across the surface of the jersey, giving the color added depth and a distinctive texture. This irregularity gradually becomes more pronounced with wear and over time, further enhancing its vintage character.

For this model, Warehouse & Co. uses an old low-gauge circular knitting machine, considered even rarer than traditional loopwheel machines. Operating at low tension and particularly slow speeds, it preserves the natural irregularities of the yarn and produces a soft, dense and exceptionally comfortable jersey. This method, now largely abandoned in favor of faster production techniques, contributes directly to the unique character of the Lot 4601.

The tubular construction, with no side seams, also follows the manufacturing methods used for T-shirts of the period. The neckline is reinforced with ribbing designed to retain its shape while naturally relaxing with wear. The roomy fit through the body and relatively short length complete this silhouette, firmly rooted in vintage American T-shirt design.

The Lot 4601 features a boxy fit, roomy through the body and short in length, inspired by American T-shirts from the 1950s and 1960s.

As the model is subject to slight shrinkage after washing, we recommend choosing one size up from your usual size. The jersey will gradually regain some of its shape and length through wear.
