The Lot 5221 Denim Wash Vintage is a denim detergent that only removes stains and impurities while preserving the depth of the indigo color.

It is often thought that to fade the colors of denim, it is best to continue wearing it without washing, but impurities such as sebum and dust, which come from daily wear, can damage the threads and continuous wear can thus lead to breakage.

Cotton is a material that stretches with use, but upon washing, the fibers absorb water and shrink, thus becoming increasingly resistant. Moreover, indigo dye oxidizes when it contains dirt, losing its original color and depth. Therefore, the secret to enjoying jeans for as long as possible is to maintain them.

What is special about this detergent is its strong cleaning power: it strips and decomposes dirt. This property is due to the fact that the nanoparticles adhere only to the stains and do not react with the indigo. Another feature is that the ingredients are made from soy fatty acids and purified water, used as foodstuffs, and are thus environmentally friendly. This product has been internationally certified by the Maritime Police Agency as a product that can be discharged into the sea. It also has excellent antibacterial properties and is effective in inactivating various viruses such as bacteria responsible for food poisoning.

The Denim Wash Vintage developed by Warehouse & Co. is free of petroleum-based surfactants, fluorescent materials, and bleaching agents, which minimizes the fading of the indigo.

It is available in two fragrances: a floral scent labeled Gold and a citrus scent labeled Silver.

How to use it:

• Use 1 cap (10 ml) of solution for 10 liters of water. The indicative value for 1 cap is the line located inside the cap.

• If you prefer hand washing, apply Denim Wash directly to the stains. It is recommended to soak the denim overnight. Wash your jeans inside out, wring them and then roll them in a terry towel to remove excess water. Afterwards, dry them right side out, flat or hanging by the legs.

• If you prefer machine washing, place your jeans inside out, zipped and/or buttoned, in the drum. If you want to avoid any potential friction, put them in a mesh bag. Wash at 30°, low spin, and avoid the tumble dryer. Dry them right side out, flat or hanging by the legs.
