In 2022, leveraging fifty years of experience, one of the last knitwear manufacturers in the Paris region established Nitto Knitwear.
Behind this brand lies a craftsmanship passed down from father to son over three generations. After growing demand in Japan under the name "Tricots Jean-Marc," Nitto ("knitting" in Japanese) was born in France, merging modern aesthetics with a clever blend of sportswear and authenticity.
All sweaters are designed, programmed, knitted, washed, fulled, assembled, and ironed in the family workshop in Clamart, France. The selected yarn is high-quality merino wool, soft and providing excellent thermal regulation. It wicks away moisture and does not itch if well knitted. The chosen stitch is a pique knit, simple yet full of character, lending a unique originality to the product. This is also expressed through the sweater's thickness, crafted in 14 gauge.
