Description

The Armen Cardigan is knitted from a yarn developed from 75% Super Geelong lambswool and 25% angora. This blend creates a lightweight and voluminous knit with a slight fuzziness and a particularly soft feel, allowing it to be worn directly against the skin.

Knitted in 7 gauge, the cardigan features a particularly considered construction. Its front is entirely machine-knitted, with no seam between the two front panels and the button placket. To create this denser and more durable section, Nitto Knitwear uses the intarsia technique, usually employed to knit multiple colors across the same row. Here, it allows the buttonholes to be integrated directly while reinforcing the area designed to hold the buttons.

Only the three corozo buttons are added during assembly. This natural material, made from the nut of a palm tree, is produced and dyed in France, in the Baie de Somme.

The Navy Mix color combines several shades of navy, creating a heathered appearance that highlights the texture and natural fuzziness of the yarn.

Fit

The Armen Cardigan has a loose, relaxed fit with a generous volume and natural drape. The lightweight, slightly fuzzy knit moves naturally with the body, while the ribbed trims structure the cuffs and bottom of the cardigan.
