The Red Wing Shop Moc Toe Oxford carries the DNA of the classic Moc Toe in a lower, lighter, and more versatile version. Originally developed to meet the needs of workers in demanding environments, the Moc Toe line has become a cornerstone of American workwear since the 1950s. Its name refers to the “moccasin,” inspired by the U-shaped toe construction derived from traditional Native American footwear.
The Oro-Legacy leather is directly inspired by the historic Irish Setter models from the 1970s. Left unpigmented during finishing, it preserves its natural character and develops a rich, unique patina over time. Each pair evolves differently depending on wear, enhancing its authenticity.
The lightweight Traction Tred crepe outsole provides excellent all-day comfort along with reliable grip on a variety of surfaces. It contributes to making this oxford version lighter and more versatile than its boot counterparts.
