Description
With the Pleated Trouser Vertical Slub Denim Indigo, Naked & Famous Denim offers a modern interpretation of the pleated trouser by merging it with Japanese denim craftsmanship. Inspired by classic tailoring, this model reworks formal trouser codes with a more relaxed construction and a raw fabric with strong character.
The fabric used is a Japanese 11.2oz Vertical Slub denim, specifically developed to highlight a highly irregular and pronounced vertical texture. The uneven cotton yarns in the warp create visible variations along the entire length of the fabric, giving the trousers a unique depth and an expressive visual character. Over time, this denim develops strong vertical fades, also known as "Tate-Ochi", further enhancing its personality.
Since the fabric is pre-washed, it provides immediate comfort from the first wear while maintaining excellent structure. The slightly softened indigo enhances the weave and allows the slub texture to stand out from the beginning.
The pleated construction adds a more tailored dimension to the garment while maintaining natural ease through the hips and thighs. The straight, relaxed leg is very subtly tapered from the knee, resulting in a clean, modern silhouette that adapts easily to a wide range of styles, from casual to more refined outfits.
