Inspired by a French worker's shirt from the 1950s, the WS50 from Informale is a hybrid piece, halfway between a jacket and a shirt. It features two deep chest pockets with hidden button flaps, and a 3-button hidden placket closure. Its French seam construction, unlined interior, allows for easy pairing with a variety of outfits, and the two deep chest pockets are designed for convenient storage of essentials. Its minimalist design gives it an elegant look that pairs well with both formal and casual outfits. The final result highlights the professional roots of this work shirt, ensuring versatility and durability.
Similar to the pants T005 that we have been offering for many seasons now, the fabric, a thick and structured linen, comes from one of the best and oldest Irish mills: Baird McNutt, with a history in the industry dating back over 220 years. Its weight of 280g/m² (approximately 10oz) and its weave provide excellent structure, increased durability, and reduced wrinkling compared to lighter linens, without compromising its breathability and thermoregulation properties.
