For the Autumn/Winter 2025 season, we have continued our creative dialogue with the Breton knitwear manufacturer Le Minor around a new flagship piece: the Chunky Noragi. In addition to the first edition of the Noragi in Milano knit reissued this year, this second collaboration pays tribute to the same Japanese-inspired silhouette while enriching it with a completely reimagined knit.

The Chunky Noragi retains the fluid cut and functional lines of the original model but now stands out with a knit that is more voluminous than the Milano version. For this evolution, the Le Minor workshops delved into their archives and revived the Richelieu rib from the legendary “grandfather jacket,” a zipped knit that has been in their catalogue for as long as their most seasoned seamstresses can remember. Knitted in 100% virgin wool, this jacket reveals a dense and warm texture, both robust and comfortable. Its deep navy blue embodies Le Minor’s maritime heritage, while the “Chunky” knit structure gives it a contemporary volume and a distinctive presence.

This creation embodies the meeting of two worlds: that of Le Minor, a Breton house whose craftsmanship has been recognised in Japan for over forty years, and that of our Flâneurs store with its refined selection of Japanese brands. Together, we sought to create a balanced piece: a Japanese-inspired cardigan crafted in the purest tradition of Breton knitwear. The Chunky Noragi perfectly represents the meeting point between two demanding textile cultures, making it a heritage piece that combines memory, modernity, and comfort.
