Description

Universal Works has been developing its Wool Fleece for many years, a fabric that has become a staple of its collections. Inspired by materials traditionally used in sportswear, this knit combines a wool-rich base with a soft and slightly felted surface.

The result offers an excellent balance of warmth and lightness, while retaining the flexibility inherent to a knitted construction. Universal Works uses this fabric in particular for its waistcoats, cardigans and jackets, designed as layering pieces for cooler days.

The Wool Fleece Rams Jacket takes a deliberately minimalist approach. Its clean construction, relaxed shape and two large patch pockets are inspired by the design philosophy of Dieter Rams and his famous principle of “less, but better”.

With its dropped shoulders and boxy silhouette, the Rams Jacket offers a contemporary look while remaining easy to wear on a daily basis. Its Wool Fleece construction allows it to be worn as a lightweight jacket or as an additional layer when temperatures drop.
