FOB Factory has developed the fabric construction to recreate the dry feel and irregular surface characteristic of denim from this period, while developing an indigo shade that already has a slightly evolved appearance.

Description

With the F159, FOB Factory develops a five-pocket jean inspired by 1970s selvedge denim. The brand studied the characteristics of denim from this period to recreate its dry feel and irregular surface, notably through the use of "open-end" yarns.

The result is a distinctive 13oz selvedge denim that remains versatile enough for everyday wear. Its slightly irregular surface and dry feel give it a character that differs from more uniform contemporary denim.

The indigo shade has also been specifically developed. FOB Factory worked with a Japanese mill specializing in denim finishing to achieve a natural, slightly evolved color from the outset. The result is reminiscent of a pair of jeans that has already begun to develop its patina, without taking on the heavily faded appearance of artificially reproduced vintage denim.

The construction remains deliberately classic, with its five pockets and straight leg. The F159 therefore focuses on a timeless silhouette and carefully developed fabric rather than a particularly complex construction.

The F159 features a true straight fit, with a leg that maintains a consistent width down to the hem. A classic and versatile silhouette that works equally well with low-profile footwear or more substantial shoes.
