Developed using extremely low-tension weaving and deliberately irregular cotton yarns, this iconic fabric perfectly reflects the brand's philosophy: pushing the boundaries of traditional denim while preserving Japanese manufacturing techniques.

At 20oz, Secret Denim might initially suggest an exceptionally rigid fabric. However, its extremely low-tension construction gives it surprising flexibility considering its substantial weight. Thick, irregular yarns create a highly textured surface, with pronounced slub and subtle color variations that give the denim remarkable depth. Its indigo shade, featuring slightly greenish undertones, contributes to this distinctive appearance. Through regular wear and washing, areas exposed to friction gradually lighten, revealing rich contrasts and highly individual fading patterns.

The 222ZR features ONI's Super Wide Straight fit, one of the most generous silhouettes in the brand's collection. Its high rise, comfortable seat and roomy thighs flow into a straight leg without tapering towards the hem. This construction allows the fabric to maintain its full volume while highlighting its natural drape and texture. Traditional details, including the original donut button fly, metal rivets and leather patch, complete a design deeply rooted in Japanese denim heritage. The jeans are finished with a One Wash treatment, softening the fabric and helping minimize shrinkage during subsequent washes.

The 222ZR features a Super Wide Straight fit, characterized by a high rise, comfortable room through the seat and an exceptionally generous leg that falls straight to the hem. Unlike tapered fits, the leg maintains its width throughout, creating a relaxed and balanced silhouette.

We recommend choosing your usual size while paying particular attention to the waist measurements. Secret Denim is woven at extremely low tension and therefore has significant stretching potential, especially around the waist. The One Wash treatment helps minimize further shrinkage, while the fabric will continue to soften and gradually adapt to your body with regular wear.
