The Japanese label XX Development, led by Taichi and Kentaro, expresses through its SURE MFG line a distinctive vision of vintage sportswear: garments inspired by great American classics, reworked with exclusive fabrics and an especially demanding level of finishing.
The Awesome Sweat Pants draws inspiration from classic collegiate sweatpants in a modernized version. This edition features an updated fit, with more room through the waist, thighs, and leg opening for a more natural drape and enhanced comfort. The silhouette is also slightly longer to provide better balance once the garment has been washed and worn.
It is made from an exclusive 15.2oz cotton fleece, dense and structured, offering warmth, shape retention, and durability. Its brushed interior delivers a soft and plush hand feel, ideal for everyday wear. Despite its substantial weight, the fabric maintains an excellent balance between structure and flexibility.
The elastic waistband is finished with a braided drawstring, while the tightened cuffs create a clean silhouette. True to the brand’s approach, every detail has been designed to combine modern comfort with authentic vintage aesthetics.
These pants can also be worn as a matching set with the coordinating tops developed within the same Awesome range offered by XX Development. Made in Japan, they perfectly reflect the textile standards and attention to detail that define the Japanese label.
This model fits true to size, so you can go with your usual size. Due to the elasticated waistband, it is also possible to size up one or two sizes for a looser fit.
