Description
The Youri Half-Zip Sweater is a variation of the Youri model, the first design developed by Nitto Knitwear, with the addition of a zipped high collar. Its construction follows the same approach to yarn selection, knitting and machine settings in order to create a piece that is comfortable, durable and built to last.
The sweater is made from 100% extra-fine merino wool, with a fiber diameter of 19.5 microns. Particularly soft to the touch, this wool benefits from the natural properties of merino wool, including good breathability and the ability to naturally regulate temperature. It is combined with a dense 14-gauge piqué knit, giving the sweater a regular structure and good shape retention over time.
The high collar is fitted with a YKK Excella zipper, selected for its quality construction and reliability. Worn open, the collar provides greater flexibility when temperatures are milder; when zipped up, it offers additional protection around the neck. The cuffs and hem are finished with 2 x 2 ribbing to structure the edges.
The Brown color has a warm and understated tone that highlights the distinctive texture of the piqué knit.
Fit
The Youri Half-Zip Sweater retains the fit of the Youri sweater while offering additional room around the shoulders. Nitto Knitwear has added 1 cm of width on each side, across all sizes, to improve comfort and freedom of movement, particularly when the sweater is worn over a shirt. We recommend choosing your usual size.
