Description

The Smock Hooded Parka draws directly from utilitarian garments developed for US Navy rescue personnel, designed to provide protection and functionality in demanding conditions. FrizmWORKS offers a contemporary interpretation based on a two-layer system, allowing protection and warmth to be easily adjusted according to weather conditions.

The outer layer takes the form of a short hooded parka made from CPN canvas composed of 70% cotton and 30% nylon. This durable fabric is suited to everyday use while retaining a certain degree of flexibility. The parka features two large gusset pockets at the front, providing generous storage space while reinforcing its utilitarian character. The main closure is secured by a YKK METALUXE 2WAY zipper, allowing the jacket to be opened from both the top and bottom.

The fixed hood features a drawstring to adjust its fit, while the base of the parka can also be tightened using an elastic drawstring. These various adjustment features make it possible to modify the silhouette and help prevent cold air from entering as temperatures drop.

The second layer consists of an inner BOA Fleece jacket, backed with a soft and warm cotton/nylon fabric. It can be worn on its own as an intermediate layer or combined with the outer parka for enhanced thermal protection. The two elements can therefore be worn independently or together, offering excellent versatility depending on the season and conditions.

The Olive colorway fully embraces the military and maritime inspiration of the piece. Its deep and natural green tone pairs easily with raw denim, canvas trousers or more technical pieces, while reinforcing the vintage character of this parka.

Fit

The Smock Hooded Parka features a Boxy fit, with a short and deliberately generous silhouette that provides enough room to be comfortably worn with the inner fleece jacket. Its generous volume also makes layering easy, while the adjustable hem with elastic drawstring allows the silhouette to be slightly modified.
