Combining innovative Italian craftsmanship with unique Japanese fabrics, Ten C offers a wide range of outerwear made with an exclusive 12oz OJJ (Original Japanese Jersey) fabric. This iconic fabric from Ten C, commonly referred to as "OJJ," is made from high-density knitted nylon and polyester fibers. OJJ is wind-resistant and water-repellent, while also featuring aging characteristics similar to denim, particularly due to the unique dyeing process. This process involves dyeing the fabric upstream as well as the garment once assembled, applying high temperature pressure. Waterproofing is finally ensured by a final Teflon treatment, guaranteeing to keep you dry under all circumstances.

This treatment makes the material more compact, and the result is a unique fabric that changes depending on the external temperatures. If it's wet, the material becomes very soft, but if it's dry, it becomes hard and stiff. This inherent stiffness softens with use to conform to the body and movements, efficiently accompanying your lifestyle habits.

The Core Down version includes the famous Liner typical of the M-51 inside the jacket. Often offered separately, here it is integrated into the jacket. Its nylon shell contains responsibly sourced hypoallergenic goose down, cherished by Ten C. It features an inner pocket with the parka reference and the brand's signature seal, manually applied and then sewn onto each piece as proof of quality control.

Design-wise, the parka is probably the most iconic garment from Ten C. It was first used in 1951 by the US military to protect against the elements during the Korean War and later became a cult garment, especially among British mods in the 1960s. Based on the original model, it includes the three drawstrings (hood, waist, and bottom of the jacket), the "Fishtail" finish at the lower back which can be shortened with two snap buttons inside the parka, and the angled pockets with buttoned flaps.
