XX Development Super Tuck River Shorts Black

The Super Tuck River Shorts Black are cotton jersey shorts developed by XX Development around a construction designed for warmer temperatures. For the 2026 version, the Japanese label has moved away from the double-layer construction used in previous editions in favor of a more breathable 11oz single-face jersey, while retaining good structure through the use of a doubled 16/1 yarn. The American cotton is spun using the Murata Vortex Spinner process, resulting in a dense, dry and structured fabric.

Description

The Super Tuck River Shorts combine a simple, functional construction with a carefully developed fabric. Despite their 11oz weight, the single-face jersey was designed to provide greater breathability than the previous version, while retaining the density and firmness sought by XX Development. The Loud Pigment dye gives the Black colorway a deep black tone that will gradually evolve with washing and wear, developing lighter grey tones and a unique patina over time.

The elasticated waistband is complemented by an external drawstring, while the two large side pockets provide genuine functionality. The slightly relaxed fit and above-the-knee length reflect the model's inspiration from classic River Shorts.
