The model is knitted on a special machine normally used to produce work socks. After knitting, the interior is brushed to create a softer and more voluminous surface while further improving heat retention.

ROTOTO also adapts several details specifically for use around the home. An elastic band positioned slightly below the ribbed cuff allows it to be worn either up or folded down, while the print underneath the foot also provides a non-slip function.
