Description

Founded in 1950 in Japan's Nara Prefecture, Nishiguchi Kutsushita began with a single hand-operated knitting machine under the guidance of Katsuji Nishiguchi. Now led by the family's third generation, the company continues to pursue the same mission: producing socks that deliver warmth, comfort and long-lasting quality through premium materials and exceptional craftsmanship.

The collection is divided into several ranges—Boston, Prague, Oslo and Teni—each inspired by the character of a different city. This model belongs to the Oslo range, combining Scandinavian-inspired simplicity with an elegant and understated jacquard pattern.

Made primarily from wool, these socks use fibres that undergo multiple pre-washing treatments to minimise shrinkage over time. Their dense, softly brushed knit provides excellent insulation while preserving wool's natural qualities, including breathability, moisture regulation and outstanding thermal comfort. Nylon enhances durability, while a small amount of elastane ensures a secure fit without feeling restrictive.
