Description

Founded in 1950 in Japan's Nara Prefecture, Nishiguchi Kutsushita began with a single hand-operated knitting machine under the guidance of Katsuji Nishiguchi. Now led by the family's third generation, the company continues to pursue the same mission: producing socks that deliver warmth, comfort and long-lasting quality through premium materials and exceptional craftsmanship.

The collection is divided into several ranges—Boston, Prague, Oslo and Teni—each inspired by the character of a different city. This model belongs to the Prague range, which focuses on understated designs that allow the texture, quality and character of the fibres to take centre stage.

These socks are knitted from Polwarth wool, a premium fibre renowned for its exceptional softness, fine handle and silky touch. Sourced from a sheep breed developed by crossing Lincoln and Merino sheep, Polwarth wool offers an excellent balance of warmth, lightness and durability. The thick ribbed knit provides a cosy, enveloping feel while remaining breathable and comfortable for everyday wear. The addition of nylon enhances durability without compromising softness or flexibility.
