Since 1950, NISHIGUCHI KUTSUSHITA has been producing warm, comfortable, and comforting socks in Japan. Katsuji Nishiguchi founded the company Knitwin Co. in the prefecture of Nara, starting with just one manual knitting machine. Since then, the company has continuously grown through successive generations and is currently led by Isato Nishiguchi, the third generation.
Their collection is divided into 4 ranges, named after the cities that inspired them: Boston, Prague, Oslo, and Teni.
The Wool Cotton Boots Socks are part of the Boston range. The city of Boston in the USA, is home to many baseball fans but also a significant working class. Just like any good piece of workwear or footwear, these socks are designed to provide unmatched comfort and enhanced durability throughout their use.
These thick wool socks are made from an eco-friendly blend of recycled wool, sourced from worn-out garments, and virgin cotton from remnants of cotton strands. They have the generous thickness of wool socks but are more durable due to a flexible weave and a well-mastered blend of materials. As their name suggests, they are perfect in a pair of boots for outdoor activities or a hard day's work.
