The Flatseams Raglan Sweat by Dubble Works is made from an exclusive fleece fabric called “Laffishinker Backing.” This textile uses a special yarn made from cotton waste, short fibers that are usually discarded during the spinning process. Reintegrated into the yarn, these fibers strengthen it while creating a naturally uneven surface full of character.
Knitted on vintage machines, the fleece has a lively, organic texture reminiscent of old American sweatshirts. It is then finished with circular brushing, a rare technique today performed by only a few specialized workshops. This finishing adds softness, depth, and a tactile dimension to the fabric while preserving an authentic appearance.
The Dark Beige pigment dye, signature to this model, gives the sweat a subtly uneven color and a unique patina. As with all pigment-dyed garments, the dye remains on the surface, allowing the shade to evolve over time, with wear and washes, enhancing its vintage aesthetic.
The comfortable fit is paired with raglan sleeves for optimal freedom of movement, as well as Flatseams construction, which is both durable and pleasant to wear.
