The Flatseams Raglan Hoodie by Dubble Works is made from an exclusive fleece fabric called “Laffishinker Backing.” This textile uses a special yarn made from cotton waste, short fibers that are usually discarded during the spinning process. Reintegrated into the yarn, these fibers strengthen it while creating a naturally uneven surface full of character.

Knitted on vintage machines, the fleece has a lively, organic texture reminiscent of old American sweatshirts. It is then finished with circular brushing, a rare technique today performed by only a few specialized workshops. This finishing adds softness, depth, and a tactile dimension to the fabric while preserving an authentic appearance.

The Sumikuro pigment dye, signature to this model, gives the hoodie a subtly uneven color and a unique patina. As with all pigment-dyed garments, the dye remains on the surface, allowing the shade to evolve over time, with wear and washes, enhancing its vintage aesthetic.
