For the F0550 Denim Work Trousers, FOB Factory combines two distinct influences from the history of utilitarian clothing. The slightly relaxed silhouette takes its cues from French workwear, while the construction emphasises the durability typically associated with U.S. military trousers. Rather than directly reproducing a particular archival garment, FOB brings elements from these two worlds together to create a pair of trousers with an identity of its own.

This approach is complemented by a fabric developed specifically in-house: FOB Factory's original 11oz nep denim. The neps give the fabric its deliberately irregular and speckled surface, creating the rugged, raw character that defines the material. Its appearance is not intended to remain static either: true to denim, the fabric will continue to evolve through regular wear, gradually developing a rich and individual patina.

The construction follows the same focus on durability. All seams feature strong flat-felled stitching, providing additional reinforcement for regular wear. A triangular gusset is also incorporated at the crotch, strengthening an area exposed to considerable stress while simultaneously improving comfort and freedom of movement.

FOB Factory finishes the trousers with distinctive two-prong laurel buttons, a detail that naturally complements the workwear and military references behind the design.
