Portuguese Flannel values quality over quantity. The brand uses exclusive fabrics, made in a traditional way and produced in certified Portuguese textile companies. All pieces are then shaped in northern Portugal. The collections are also made from natural materials such as cotton, linen, or wool. Portugal and the family history of the two brothers who founded Portuguese Flannel play a significant role in the creation of the collections. Coming from a family that has been producing textiles for four generations, Manuel and António aim to change the way the world sees their country, a place of value and authenticity.
Long recognized for their high-quality shirts, Portuguese Flannel has recently introduced a wide range of meticulously crafted trousers, made from characterful fabrics. For our first inclusion, we chose the Double Pleat Trousers for its style as well as for its primary material. This pleated trouser, with a moderately slim fit, is made from a 100% wool herringbone fabric, textured and interspersed with subtle variations of shades reminiscent of tweed. This woolen fabric is slightly dry to the touch, which is why the inside of the leg is lined with a more silky viscose fabric, providing comfort and softness when worn.
These pants fit true to size, you can take your usual size. As we do not offer half sizes, we recommend choosing the next size up if you are between two sizes.
