The Fatigue Pant—also known as the "Baker Pant" or "OG-107" for its original Olive Green color—needs no introduction. It is the quintessential military-inspired pant. Emerging in the 1950s, it was designed for the US Army, which sought to update its post-WWII uniforms. The goal was a lighter, more practical, and more comfortable pant, and the Fatigue Pant delivered so well that it became the longest-used uniform pant in the US Army. Reliable and timeless, it is hard to imagine a more enduring model.

Building on this legacy, Barnstormer revisits the icon in 100% cotton fine-wale Japanese corduroy, subtly washed for a vintage look. The 1633P retains the key features of the original, with two large front patch pockets with slanted openings and two large back flap pockets. The high-waist design provides comfort in the thighs, tapering slightly toward the hem, which includes extra length for adjustment if needed.

The true Japanese craftsmanship shines in the construction, which is closer to a tailored pant than a military uniform. Details include a reinforced waistband, pocket bag linings to prevent wear, and multiple bar tacks securing stress points. The waistband buttonhole has been removed, replaced with sewn belt loops and a gusset at the back for easy waist adjustments. A center crease is added to the legs, giving a slightly formal finish while contrasting with its military roots.
