Born from the artisanal approach of Kardo and the contemporary tailoring philosophy of Flâneurs, the Taka trousers emphasize smart construction and a well-balanced silhouette. They are crafted from heavyweight 100% cotton handwoven denim, recognizable by its natural irregularities and tonal variations that give each piece a unique, artisanal character. This Light Indigo version recalls the shade of bleached or heavily faded denim over time, expressed in a very summery light blue.
The cut stands out thanks to a reverse pleat that slightly lifts the upper section to provide extra ease through the hips and thighs, while gradually tapering from the knee to the hem to create a clean and harmonious silhouette. The elasticated waistband with drawstring ensures optimal comfort while maintaining a refined shape. The trousers feature classic rear slit pockets. Entirely handmade by a single tailor, each piece is unique and comes with a label listing the names of the artisans involved in its creation.
Handwoven denim
The trousers are made from 100% cotton handwoven denim, rooted in the artisanal expertise of Kardo. The fabric is woven by hand on traditional looms, thread by thread, creating subtle variations in tension and tone throughout the material, making each piece truly one of a kind. This technique gives the textile a lively, irregular texture that is soft to the touch while offering excellent strength and durability. The manual process also allows precise control over the density and thickness of the woven yarns, ensuring a perfect balance between comfort, structure, and aesthetics.
