The Kombu Weekender from Goémon is a lightweight, water-resistant bag with generous storage capacity, ideal for weekend trips, the beach, or as an extra bag. It is made from a combination of high-end technical fabrics used by top brands in the design of high-performance backpacks:
- X-Pac® X07: X-Pac by Dimension-Polyant is a very unique gear-material. With its multilayer-construction it combines several properties: abrasion-resistant 70den-ripstop-nylon on the outside, a thin polyester-tafetta on the inside and strong X-PLY fibers inbetween. This makes the fabric extremely tear-resistant, durable, 100% waterproof and gives it a very good structural stabiltiy.
- ECOPAK® EPLX200: UV-resistant and highly waterproof, ECOPAK™ by Challenge Outdoor is a laminated fabric for backpacks made from 100% recycled polyester. The CrossPly fibers composing it are recognizable by their characteristic diamond shape, designed to increase tear resistance and prevent the material from deforming.
XPAC and Challenge Outdoor take particular care to produce their fabrics as "cleanly" as possible. The waterproof treatment applied to their fabrics is guaranteed PFC and PFAS free.
Individually handmade in Brittany, each bag is crafted with a technical fabric specifically reworked by Goémon to ensure its uniqueness. Furthermore, its structure and design make it easily repairable if it were to be damaged.
This Kombu Full Black version, made in a series of 5, comes in a uniform black fabric paired with a tone-on-tone Goémon screen-printed logo. To preserve the uniqueness of each piece, only the color of the zipper pulls varies from bag to bag: Pink / Green / Purple / Black / Black and Blue.
