Founded in 2013, Batoner is the brand of the Okuyama Meriyasu knitting factory, established in 1951 in Sagae, Yamagata Prefecture. It draws on the expertise of this historic Japanese knitwear region to develop pieces whose character comes from their materials and precise construction. The Pure Mohair Signature Crew Neck expresses this approach through a distinctive knit with understated lines.
The 100% mohair composition places this fibre at the heart of the design, without added wool or synthetic fibres. Its fluffy appearance visually softens the ribbed pattern, while its natural lustre adds depth to the colour.
