The Momotaro Jeans #002 Standard Denim Jacket is offered here in an all-black version, crafted from 14.7oz Japanese selvedge denim. Woven on traditional shuttle looms in Okayama, the fabric combines a dense construction and authentic texture with a black colour achieved by dyeing both the warp and weft yarns. Sanforized but unwashed, it offers excellent dimensional stability while retaining the character and feel of traditional Japanese denim.
The standard fit is inspired by the iconic Type II jacket, with a slightly relaxed volume and balanced length for optimal comfort. In addition to the two buttoned flap chest pockets characteristic of this classic jacket design, two discreet and practical side pockets add a touch of functionality. The pattern has been designed to provide not only a harmonious silhouette, but also natural freedom of movement, in keeping with Momotaro's craftsmanship philosophy.
