While maintaining the authentic touch typical of Oni Denim, the 246-MOKU jeans are an atypical model in the range of fabrics usually offered. Made from lightweight 11oz deadstock denim woven on old shuttle looms, the fabric is textured yet soft to the touch and light to wear. Its unique shade is achieved by combining various shades of gray threads, creating a "Moku" effect, meaning "mixed" or "marbled" in Japanese. The immaculate white selvedge edge blends into the overall mottled appearance of the fabric.

The 246 corresponds to the Neat Straight cut, a fitted straight jean with a comfortable high waist, good backward tilt, and thigh room that extends down the leg for an overall straight fall. To set the size and soften the fabric, the fabric is pre-washed directly by the brand, providing lightness and comfort from the first wear.
