The WorkForce Selvedge is a lightweight 11oz Japanese denim that perfectly captures the essence of traditional workwear, characterized by its distinctive light indigo shade. This denim is classically woven with white weft threads but stands out with the use of "slubby" and "neppy" cotton yarns. This results in a fabric dotted with small white cotton "neps" and also features an irregular texture that will develop character over time. The classic blue selvedge ID adds an extra touch to its decidedly vintage look.
The fabric, although sanforized, is not pre-washed, and feels stiff and crispy at first but will soften quickly to provide optimal comfort over time. Its light indigo shade allows for a quicker but lighter patina, typical of the vintage style known in jeans. Made in Canada, these jeans are completed with white contrast stitching, a button fly, a vintage-style jacron patch, and silver metallic buttons and rivets.
The TrueGirl is the female version of the TrueGuy men's cut. It features a high waist, along with a straight leg from the thigh to the hem. It refers to the vintage cuts that have marked the history of jeans, making it timeless, versatile, and suitable for a wide range of body shapes.
