The Secret Agent Bleach Blue from Naked & Famous is crafted from a 14oz Japanese non-selvedge denim, originating from a fabric lot that was nearly lost. During development in Japan, part of the lot was water-damaged, causing uneven indigo across the fabric surface.
Rather than letting the fabric go to waste, the manufacturer collaborated with a Japanese dye house to carefully bleach the denim at the fabric stage. This process transformed the damaged raw material into a pale, cloudy blue with a soft, consistent finish. The fabric was then received by Naked & Famous in this state and cut for production, with no additional treatment.
Despite this transformation, the denim retains its body and durability while offering improved drape and immediate comfort. The finishes include contrasting stitching, a button fly, silver rivets and buttons, and a full-grain leather patch, adding character and longevity to the piece.
The WeirdGuy cut remains Naked & Famous’ most versatile: comfortable at the waist, standard in the thigh, with a slightly tapered leg, combining modern style with the authenticity of Japanese denim.
This model generally fits true to size, so you can take your usual size.
