Following the enthusiasm of previous collaborations with Harley Of Scotland, we've decided to continue this year with a third partnership. While keeping three colors from last year (Evergreen, Pheasant, and Ocean), we are excited to announce nine additional variations.

This year again, all the knits are brushed ("Shaggy") and come from a type of Shetland Wool we particularly cherish, sourced from the Scottish mill Gardiner. Over the past 20 years, we have had the opportunity to test many different wools, and the one from Gardiner remains one of our favorites. This partnership between our store, the manufacturer Harley of Scotland, and the mill Gardiner also allows us to offer, once again, a sweater that is 100% Made in Scotland.

The Gardiner wool has a rustic appearance and a dryer feel initially, which will soften over time and with washes. Besides being very warm, the knitting provided by Harley of Scotland makes the fabric significantly lighter to wear. The result is a sweater entirely made in Scotland, benefiting from the craftsmanship of Harley of Scotland, one of the few manufacturers specialized in creating "seamless" knits, meaning knitted in one piece without any seams. The uniqueness of this sweater lies in its brushing: to give it a fluffy appearance, it has been brushed once using not a man-made brush, but a wild teasel (Dipsacus fullonum), a species of thistle which, once dried, becomes a natural brush with a unique result.

Of medium thickness, with a breathable knit stitch for more comfort, this sweater remains warm and ideal for wearing when temperatures drop. Its classic straight cut and sufficiently wide crew neck allow it to be easily worn over a shirt or a simple t-shirt.

Here, the color is Sea Pink: a dominant pink with some notes of cream for a mottled look.
