Description

The Open B.D. Dobby Plaid takes the codes of the traditional American Button Down shirt and puts the focus on the fineness of its weave. Made from 100% cotton, it features a check pattern created through a Dobby weave, which adds a slight relief and a subtle texture to the surface of the fabric, noticeable even from a distance.

Its Green colourway stands out with a deep khaki ground, dense and earthy, without ever tipping into black. It is crossed by a fine grid made up of beige and light grey yarns, whose brightness lifts the khaki base and adds contrast. This combination of a rich green and luminous lines gives the fabric real depth while keeping a clean, structured look.

The construction draws on several details characteristic of classic American shirts: a soft Button Down collar, front button placket, buttoned cuffs and a chest pocket. Side gussets allow for ease of movement, while the straight hem gives it a clean line, ideal for wearing tucked into trousers.
