Beams Plus, launched in 1999 by the Japanese brand BEAMS, draws inspiration from the American golden age (1940-1960), a period of economic prosperity following World War II. The brand draws from the classic dress codes of that time, including Americana, workwear, sportswear, and military, to create modern and timeless interpretations of these styles.

The Rag Socks line from Beams Plus offers retro-style socks, with a certain thickness and mid-length height. Knitted in Japan on old machines using two different types of yarn, including one recycled (a textile recycling process practiced for centuries in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture), they provide a soft touch and a unique texture to the fabric. They come in heather grey with a contrasting red stripe.
