Description

Founded in 1950 in Japan's Nara Prefecture, Nishiguchi Kutsushita began with a single hand-operated knitting machine under the guidance of Katsuji Nishiguchi. Now led by the family's third generation, the company continues to pursue the same goal: producing socks that provide warmth, comfort and durability through high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship.

The collections are divided into several ranges — Boston, Prague, Oslo and Teni — each inspired by a different city and its unique identity. This model belongs to the Boston range, which focuses on functional, durable pieces designed for everyday use.

The Luxurious Cotton Ribbed Socks are made from a blend of extra-fine recycled cotton and organic cotton. The yarns are treated with a special dyeing technique called "speck dyeing", which applies colour through spraying to create a natural evolution of the shade over time.

This process gives the socks a unique character that develops with wear, similar to materials that gain a natural patina over time. Their fine stretch ribbed knit provides an excellent balance of softness, breathability and support, making them a versatile pair suitable for every season.
