British Drill is a durable cotton twill valued for its combination of strength and flexibility, traditionally used for uniforms and utilitarian trousers. In Japan, this type of weave is known as Katsuragi. ONI offers its own interpretation, reflecting the brand's appreciation for expressive fabrics and traditional manufacturing techniques.

The defining feature of these trousers is their selvedge twill, woven at low tension using deliberately irregular yarns. The fabric displays a subtly uneven surface scattered with dark neps that contrast with its khaki and olive tones. This combination creates an unusual depth of texture and color, reminiscent of vintage military fabrics without relying on artificial aging effects. Cut & Fit

The 777-BRD features a wide, straight fit, combining a high rise with generous room through the hips and thighs and a wide leg opening. The silhouette maintains its volume down to the hem, creating a relaxed shape without tapering.

This model fits true to size. We recommend choosing your usual size, depending on your preferred fit at the waist. As the fabric has already been washed, further shrinkage should be minimal. Like other low-tension ONI fabrics, some softening and slight stretching around the waist can be expected with regular wear.
