Seuvas is a young Japanese label based in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture. Inspired by workwear and military styles, the brand offers clothing made from the exceptional canvas of Takeyari, a local factory that has been producing this material for 130 years. Seuvas thus offers jackets, shirts, and pants in natural canvas as part of its permanent collection, cutting and sewing all the garments themselves in their own workshop in Kurashiki using vintage sewing machines.

The Tapered Pants from Seuvas offer a versatile carrot fit, with a mid-high waist that fits snugly, good thigh room followed by a slightly tapered lower leg starting from the knee. The apparent simplicity of these pants is enhanced by subtle details such as the double-buttoning of the waistband, belt loops accompanied by a drawstring, and an inner label fashioned in an authentic shade, reflecting the natural color of the cotton.
