The Binchōtan charcoal dye gives the fabric deep, natural shades that highlight the textile’s structure and its patina over time. Binchōtan is a dense vegetal charcoal made from Ubamegashi oak, known for its thermal properties and its ability to absorb unwanted tastes and odors.
