After months of careful development, we are proud to present our first collaboration with one of our most respected denim makers: ONI Denim. For this release, we moved beyond ONI’s typical fabrics to create an entirely new textile — while preserving the brand’s signature, highly textured weave. The result is a striking Indigo x Indigo fabric that embodies Japanese denim artistry.

This 3x3 twill weighs approximately 12oz, offering an ideal balance of durability, comfort, and breathability for year-round wear.

The warp (outer yarn) is made from 8/1 triple-ply yarn, rope-dyed in indigo.

The weft (inner yarn) is made from the same 8/1 triple-ply yarn, dyed in indigo using the cheese dyeing method (チーズ染め / chīzu zome).

The combination of these two dyeing techniques creates a rich depth of color and a nuanced patina over time:

• Rope dyeing: Yarn twisted like a rope is quickly dipped into multiple indigo baths, leaving the core white — promoting faster, more distinct fading.
• Cheese dyeing: Yarn is dyed while wound on a cylinder for deep, even penetration and a stable indigo tone.

Together, they produce a subtle, dynamic texture whose tones shift with light and wear.

The 3x3 weave (triple-ply warp and weft) ensures exceptional strength while softening gradually with wear. The One Wash finish gives the denim a uniform dark tone and a clean, structured feel, making it an excellent alternative to chinos for a refined silhouette — while retaining the detailing of traditional jeans.

This edition uses the popular 246 Neat Straight fit: a tailored straight cut with a comfortable high rise, a slight rear tilt, and room in the thigh that continues cleanly down the leg. Versatile and flattering on many body types, it transitions effortlessly from casual to smart styling.
