A true iconic piece from the Korean brand FrizmWorks, the Karakoram Down Parka has become a staple over the seasons. It is a modern reinterpretation of the famous Karakoram parka created by Eddie Bauer in 1953 at the request of Charles Houston, a seasoned climber who aimed to climb K2, the world's second-highest peak, part of the Karakoram mountain range. It was under these circumstances that this historic parka was born, designed for the extreme conditions of what climbers call the "Death Zone", situated beyond 8000 meters altitude.

This parka stands out for its warmth and durability. Its tough outer shell combines cotton and nylon for greater durability, while its insulation is provided by duck down padding enriched with feathers, offering excellent heat retention, good breathability, and significant compressibility for easy packing and transport.

In terms of details, the parka features two large double patch pockets with buttoned flaps at the front and back, an adjustable hood equipped with a visor and a metal rod for better support, and a zip closure reinforced with a button placket to keep the cold out, just like the ribbed cuffs that secure the wrists. Numerous drawstrings also allow for adjusting the fit according to the desired look.
