Description

As the first chino developed by Sugar & Co., the Daddy's Chino reflects the Japanese label's approach to reinterpreting menswear classics while preserving their original character. Drawing particular inspiration from American chinos of the 1980s, it incorporates vintage tailoring details and proportions into a comfortable silhouette designed for everyday wear.

Made from 100% cotton twill, the fabric combines softness with structure, featuring a lightly brushed surface that gives it a subtle texture and a pleasant feel. Its gentle sheen and substantial hand recall vintage American chinos, while the stitching and assembly techniques also draw inspiration from 1980s production methods. In this Black version, the deep colour enhances the clean lines of the trousers and their understated appearance.

The two inward-facing pleats create additional volume through the front, while the partially elasticated waistband improves comfort and helps the fabric sit naturally around the waist. The leg gradually narrows towards the hem, maintaining a balanced silhouette despite the generous proportions through the hips and thighs. The One Wash finish helps stabilize the garment's dimensions, while the cotton will continue to soften and develop character with wear.
