Portugal and the family history of the two brothers who founded Portuguese Flannel play a significant role in the creation of the collections. Here, we find a classic shirt, featuring an American collar and a chest pocket. It comes in a Brushed Oxford, a brushed Oxford fabric that adds texture to the material and gives the impression of a "light flannel." The characteristic of Oxford shirts is having dyed warp threads and white weft threads. The result is a twill weave that offers a softer and less saturated hue. The brushed effect also results in a less pronounced color than a classic Oxford.
