Portuguese Flannel values quality over quantity. The brand uses exclusive fabrics, made traditionally and produced in certified Portuguese textile companies. All pieces are then crafted in the north of Portugal. The collections are also made from natural materials like cotton, linen, or wool. This is also true for the buttons, made from corozo or mother-of-pearl. Portugal and the family history of the two brothers who founded Portuguese Flannel play a significant role in the creation of the collections. Coming from a family that has been in the textile industry for four generations, Manuel and António aim to evolve how the world views their country, a place of value and authenticity.
Here, we find a classic shirt with an American collar and a chest pocket. It is available in Brushed Oxford, a brushed Oxford fabric that adds texture and gives the impression of a "light flannel." The characteristic of Oxford shirts is having dyed warp threads and white weft threads. The result is a basket weave (the way the threads are interlaced) that offers a softer and less saturated color. The brushed effect also results in a less pronounced color than a classic Oxford.
This shirt is crafted in a lovely Moss Green shade (a color that leans towards a light mottled gray).
