Founded in 1998 by Stay Gold Company, A Hope Hemp is a Japanese brand that creates premium products from hemp. Its mission: to better utilize hemp as an alternative to cotton in the fashion industry to promote a more sustainable future. The brand initially started by making t-shirts before redirecting its research and development of artisanal materials to the manufacture of socks.

Meticulously made in a small factory in Koryo-cho, Nara Prefecture, A Hope Hemp socks are slowly woven on rare and very old looms that can only produce about forty pairs a day. This slow process requires a lot of attention and care but in return, provides a flexible, soft, and pleasant texture. They incorporate a generous proportion of hemp for increased durability and the antimicrobial and deodorizing benefits inherent to this natural fiber. The result is a high-quality, well-balanced pair of socks that adapts to your use, no matter the season.

This version is offered in 2 sizes: S corresponding to 36/39EU (23/25cm), and M corresponding to 39/42EU (25/27cm).
