Founded in 1998 by Stay Gold Company, A Hope Hemp is a Japanese brand that creates premium products from hemp. Its mission: to better use hemp as an alternative to cotton in the fashion industry to promote a more sustainable future. The brand initially started making T-shirts before redirecting its research and development of artisanal materials to the production of socks.

Carefully made in a small factory in Koryo-cho, Nara Prefecture, A Hope Hemp socks are slowly woven on rare and very old looms, which can produce only about forty pairs per day. This slow process requires a lot of attention and care, but in return, it yields a soft, gentle, and pleasant texture. They incorporate a generous proportion of hemp for increased durability and the antimicrobial and deodorizing benefits inherent in this natural fiber. The result is a quality pair of socks, well-balanced, that adapts to your use, whatever the season.
