This model is part of the Kardo x Flâneurs collection, a classic from our summer collaborations. The HBP02 shirt is designed with a straight and slightly tailored fit for added comfort and versatility. It is lightweight and perfect for warm days. The open collar and buttoned chest pocket give it a practical and stylish look, inspired by workwear.
The fabric is a blend of hand weaving and Block Print using natural dyes. Then, the fabric is hand-printed using carved wooden stamps and natural dyes.
The Ajrakh print patterns are inspired by geometric shapes and wildlife, and are always dyed with natural dyes. Ajrakh prints are produced by the talented award-winning artisan Sufiyan Khatri and his team in Ajrakhpur.
The printing is done by hand using the traditional Block Print method, a craft process that gives each piece a unique texture. Each shirt is a handcrafted piece, showcasing the work of artisans from New Delhi, whose names are listed on the label inside each shirt.
What is Block Print?
The Block Print is an ancient technique that involves hand-carving patterns on wooden stamps, dipped in natural dyes, and then printed onto the fabric. This meticulous and traditional process adds a unique dimension to each shirt.
