Now a staple of our summer collections for 3 years, here is the new edition of one of our most beloved and anticipated collaborations: Kardo x Flâneurs.

With an unchanged design, this comfortable straight-cut shirt has been slightly elongated compared to models offered by Kardo, to more easily fit all body types and be worn comfortably both tucked and untucked. The open collar adds a touch of authenticity while the chest pocket draws inspiration from a more workwear universe.

The name of each artisan involved in making the shirt is listed on the label, highlighting the human scale of this unique manufacturer.

What is Shibori?

This technique, literally translated as "twist and bind," emerged in the 13th century and involves twisting and binding the fabric with ties or elastic bands before dipping it into vats of natural dye. Once the ties are removed, various unique geometric patterns and multiple depths of dye are revealed. The dyes used by Kardo are completely natural, from indigo to the extract of Harda, a tree native to South Asia.
